About a month ago, my colleague Cindy Ann Kilgo invited me to record a conversation about the dissertation research I did alongside trans* collegians. This conversation will be used for an online summer course hosted through the University of Iowa Higher Education and Student Affairs program, and is titled, EPLS 2098: The Student Affairs Profession.
I was given permission to share the recorded conversation, and thought it would be good to share it on my blog. It is a bit under 30 minutes, and gives (I hope) some clear and succinct insight into the findings from the study I did alongside trans* collegians. And sorry in advance for the poor lighting. I apparently still have some work to do in setting the right ambiance and getting the correct angle on my laptop camera for these things. Let's just say I am confident the content of the video is better than the poor camera angle and lighting, though.
